Fly Fishing Film Tour

In just its fourth year, The Fly Fishing Film Tour has become the outdoor and extreme Fly fishing entertainment of the year. This short film collection will tour 75 cities across the nation. Once again Santa Cruz will be the only stop in Northern California. A showcase for the outdoor independent filmmakers as they follow fly fisherman catching and releasing fish from Alaska to New Zealand. Epic and funny fly fishing scenes to be enjoyed by all. You do not have to be a fly fisherman to enjoy this film selection.

This film event will be a fundraiser for the Monterey Bay Salmon and Trout Project. Established in 1976, the local hatchery and youth education program is currently focusing on the endangered Coho Salmon and Central Coast strain of Steelhead. A special recognition to be given to Al Smith, the project director for over a decade. Lots of fun and prizes.
